Alex Holmes, the great, great, great grandchild of the famous Victorian detective has followed in Sherlock’s footsteps and has themselves established a reputation for solving the unsolvable. Tonight is the Metropolitan Police Commissioner’s Christmas ball.  A whole host of VIPs have been invited and of course Holmes and their good friend Dr Watson are on the guest list… however, when the Commissioner is discovered dead in a sealed room deep in the depths of Scotland Yard – Holmes is brought into action once again…

It is 1956. Millicent Montague is throwing a party to celebrate the release of her latest Hollywood blockbuster "How to Murder a Millionaire". All the stars will all be there and Millicent is hoping that she will be able to put the past behind her. You know the sort of thing:  The rumours of her affairs, her involvement with a prominent American Politician, Her Mafia connections, etcetera etcetera. She is hoping that the film will distract people from all that. But you can be sure that someone has a grudge to bear. But would they kill because of it?

It is Valentine’s Day, and ‘Embrace’, the Introduction Agency have organised a fabulous evening meal to celebrate all those happy couples they have helped to find love during the past year.  Unfortunately, the course of true love never runs smoothly… could somebody have been hit by more than Cupid’s arrow?

It is 1924, and Zara Fitzroy is a proud, free-thinking woman of the era. During WW1 she worked in an automotive factory and (with the financial help of her wealthy engineering father), opened her own company, ‘Amethyst Motor Company Ltd’ last year with the sole purpose of cars being built for ladies and by ladies. Tonight is a celebration of the 500th car rolling off the production line. But is this party going to run as smoothly as one of her automobiles, or will tensions overheat and cause the wheels to come off the road?

Style TV, is new to the UK. Owned by Australian media magnate Greg Copeland, the TV company is set to go head to head in an all out war with BBC's 'Strictly' this year. Their new dance show, 'Step Up & Dance'  promises to be big & brash.  Fronted by TV host Sam Delaney, the show will have notorious musical star P.J. McQueen as lead judge, who makes Craig Revel Norwood seem like a pussycat!!   Tonight will be an opportunity for one lucky person to join the show.
