The trouble is, 'The Dreams' are becoming reality. Janet's last phone call to Alex was: "My mobile was ringing, and I woke up to find a picture of me sleeping on it taken from the other side of my bedroom. It is 1926. Mable Cartwright is a spinster living in the small village of Killinton, and she often encounters and investigates unusual crimes, much to the annoyance of the local constabulary. She is here for tonight’s church fundraising party and has really been looking forward to it. However, the event turns out not be the success that she prays for as disturbing news of a death is received from the St. Cuthbert’s. Can she, with the help of the guests and the police, solve this most unholy of murders?

Twas The Night Before Christmas (Optional Costume – Christmas Party Wear)

It is Christmas Eve 1987 and you are part of Smartoys staff Christmas party.  This year, Fiona Smartley-Price (Smartoy’s CEO) has extra cause to celebrate because the company have achieved having the Christmas Number 1 toy in the shops.  Mouseville Friends is that toy and was the brainchild of Siobhan (Fiona’s daughter and a managing director of the company).  She launched the new toy along with her fiancée Noel Thurst who is a television executive that has launched an animated series based on the toys. This has just completed its first series on CBBC.  Will the celebrations continue all night long or will sinister happenings halt them?

With pensions pots running dry Investors monies swallowed up, and a marriage on the rocks, will investors seek revenge, will relationships become full of suspicion, has a well know face returned to the scene? And will there be Murder tonight?

Blind Date in Venice (Optional Costume – Standard Party Wear)

10 years ago "Blind Date in Venice" became the most successful romantic comedy film ever, and starred Chloe Carlysle and Drake Sullivan. Chloe has not made a film since and in an attempt to resurrect her career she has arranged this romantic weekend/evening for people in love and for people who want to fall in love. Chloe will also be signing copies of her autobiography at the bash. Has she revealed any kiss and tell secrets? Could this lead to temptation, jealousy, heartbreak and murder?

Murder on the Dance Floor (Optional Costume – Black Tie / Sparkly Dress)

Style TV, is new to the UK. Owned by Australian media magnate Greg Copeland, the TV company is set to go head to head in an all out war with BBC's 'Strictly' this year. Their new dance show, 'Step Up & Dance'  promises to be big & brash.  Fronted by TV host Sam Delaney, the show will have notorious musical star P.J. McQueen as lead judge, who makes Craig Revel Norwood seem like a pussycat!!   Tonight will be an opportunity for one lucky person to join the show.

The Betrayers: Final Move (Optional Costume – Standard Party Wear etc)

A group of strangers meet in a castle deep in the wilderness as they compete to survive in the ultimate murder mystery. Hosted by the ever-popular Cornelia Shrinkleman, the show has moved to the hotel this evening for the grand finale – which for the first time will be held publicly in front of specially invited friends and guests.

However, in an act of complete betrayal, the show’s producer is murdered for real – who will be able to solve the riddles and crack this code – before whodunnit was makes their final move?

Sinister (Optional Costume –Mad Scientist)

Michael and Georgina Kettleworth are celebrating their wedding anniversary tonight. Michael is a successful scientist currently engaged in some top secret research, which he conducts at a secret laboratory based near to the hotel. They have invited all their friends and colleagues and they should be at the evening also. But what exactly is the nature of Michael’s research and how is it funded? Why is Georgina so nervous and highly strung? And just WHAT are those strange, creepy noises?

SAM (Optional Costume – Standard Party Wear)

This evening Dr. Ian Grove has thrown a dinner to demonstrate his latest invention: An authentic human looking robot called SAM. (Simulated Automated Mechanism). SAM will be switched on tonight and you will be able to see just how good Dr. Grove’s work is. Dr. Grove wants to mass produce these machines, known as ‘Simulants’ and intends to showcase SAM to some rich and powerful business people who will be there tonight. What could possibly go wrong?

This evening, you are invited to the wedding reception of high school sweethearts, Jack and Jill Smith. The vows have been exchanged and the party is in full swing – but is everyone happy for the happy couple? Is somebody hoping that death will part them sooner than most would have expected?

Sgt Catherine Yardley has arranged the annual party for her colleagues at the local provincial police station. Every year out of politeness, she invites the chief constable. This year, for the first time ever the chief has accepted the invitation. Will the police be able to let their hair down as usual? And why has the chief decided to come along anyway? It is 1926. The biggest fashion designer of the decade is organising a fashion show and cat walk at your hotel tonight. Many of the latest designs will be on show. But are any of the designs totally original? Is someone jealous of what’s on display? And would somebody kill if the money was right?

Matthew Bradshaw, founder and CEO of the company has thrown a party to celebrate and to make a very important announcement. But things don't go according to plan - why is MBX-TV losing ground to its rivals? What secrets and mysteries does the hotel harbour? And are the rumours about John Piper's ghost true?

It is 1922 and Lord and Lady Digby are hosting an elegant evening in their home to celebrate the anniversary of their marriage. Rose Digby, the daughter of our hosts, has been away for some time and is looking forward to her first social occasion since her return home. Her parents have arranged for her to meet a dashing young man they believe is the perfect suitor, but will she fall for him? Who is keeping a secret tonight?
