The Killinton Sci-Fi & Comic book Society are holding their annual convention.  This year it promises to be a very special one as the society are planning an exciting visit to the world’s biggest convention in San Diego, California.  Everyone who has paid the £5000 registration fee for this, will tonight have the opportunity to win back that fee and go to the USA completely free of charge… but will everyone get to go or does somebody have alternative plans?

This evening, you are invited to enjoy the wrap party for the end of the latest series of the highly successful reality show, ‘UK Talent Search’. Each week, a panel of judges headed by the infamous Simeon Bullel, watch over as hopeful acts compete for the audience vote and to be crowned the victor. The show has been presented by the ever-popular Anton Deck since its inception and this year he has been working on a few surprises to entertain judges, contestants, and the audience…

Murder on the Dance Floor (Optional Costume – Black Tie / Sparkly Dress)

Style TV, is new to the UK. Owned by Australian media magnate Greg Copeland, the TV company is set to go head to head in an all out war with BBC's 'Strictly' this year. Their new dance show, 'Step Up & Dance'  promises to be big & brash.  Fronted by TV host Sam Delaney, the show will have notorious musical star P.J. McQueen as lead judge, who makes Craig Revel Norwood seem like a pussycat!!   Tonight will be an opportunity for one lucky person to join the show.

The Eyes of Martha Goodfellow (Optional Costume –Ghosts, Vampires etc)

You are invited to the annual "Spooks Ball" arranged by the Killinton Ghost Hunting Society. The society has been searching for evidence about the mysterious case of Martha Goodfellow for years, but has yet to find anything. Every year they have a big party where everyone gets the chance to dress up as their favourite monster, ghoul or demon! But this year someone may well end up as a ghost - for real.

The Time Traveller’s Wife (Optional Costume – Standard Party Wear)

This evening, Henry George Wells is hosting the annual general meeting of The Quantum Leapers. A group set up to further the research into time travel. This evening promises to be an exciting event – famous movie star Martin Mackleby will be making an appearance and Henry has promised an exciting revelation. Unfortunately, the suicide of his wife Hannah might put a dampener on the proceedings. Did the time traveller’s wife really kill herself or is something more sinister taking place?

Murder Under the Mistletoe (Optional Costume – Christmas Party Wear)

It is Christmas in 1899 and the Prime Minister, Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, is hosting a lavish party. Spirits are high at the turn of the century, commerce and politics are doing well. It is also 7 years since the infamous Jack the Ripper was last active. But is everyone who they say they are? And has the Ripper really finished his work?
