Every year they have a big party where everyone gets the chance to dress up as their favourite monster, ghoul or demon! But this year someone may well end up as a ghost - for real.

Tonight is the Metropolitan Police Commissioner’s Christmas ball.  A whole host of VIPs have been invited and of course Holmes and their good friend Dr Watson are on the guest list… however, when the Commissioner is discovered dead in a sealed room deep in the depths of Scotland Yard – Holmes is brought into action once again…

It is 1924, and Zara Fitzroy is a proud, free-thinking woman of the era. During WW1 she worked in an automotive factory and (with the financial help of her wealthy engineering father), opened her own company, ‘Amethyst Motor Company Ltd’ last year with the sole purpose of cars being built for ladies and by ladies. Tonight is a celebration of the 500th car rolling off the production line. But is this party going to run as smoothly as one of her automobiles, or will tensions overheat and cause the wheels to come off the road?

10 years ago "Blind Date in Venice" became the most successful romantic comedy film ever, and starred Chloe Carlysle and Drake Sullivan. Chloe has not made a film since and in an attempt to resurrect her career she has arranged this romantic weekend/evening for people in love and for people who want to fall in love. Chloe will also be signing copies of her autobiography at the bash. Has she revealed any kiss and tell secrets? Could this lead to temptation, jealousy, heartbreak and murder?

The After Show Party (Optional Costume – Black Tie / Ball Gowns)

Having all been interviewed on the infamous Jenny James Show that morning, light-hearted teasing turns to full-blown arguments as interviewees condone each other’s’ behaviour. The Deal, a new game show, is being piloted this weekend. All the contestants, their friends and relatives have been invited to stay together at the hotel to get to know each other before the cameras roll the following day – the first mistake made by the production company. Its second mistake? Choosing to use the contestants for the game show rather than the great crime thriller that is set to unfold over the course of the evening.

The Killinton Sci-Fi & Comic book Society are holding their annual convention.  This year it promises to be a very special one as the society are planning an exciting visit to the world’s biggest convention in San Diego, California.  Everyone who has paid the £5000 registration fee for this, will tonight have the opportunity to win back that fee and go to the USA completely free of charge… but will everyone get to go or does somebody have alternative plans?

Holmes is Where the Heart is (Optional Costume – Sherlock Holmes/Detective)

Alex Holmes, great great great grandchild of the famous Victorian era sleuth is back in action.  This time there have been a series of gruesome murders where all of the victims have had their hearts removed.  In each case there has been no evidence to identify who the perpetrator could be.  Will Holmes make the connection and solve these dastardly crimes before the killer strikes again?

The Betrayers: Final Move (Optional Costume – Standard Party Wear etc)

A group of strangers meet in a castle deep in the wilderness as they compete to survive in the ultimate murder mystery. Hosted by the ever-popular Cornelia Shrinkleman, the show has moved to the hotel this evening for the grand finale – which for the first time will be held publicly in front of specially invited friends and guests.

However, in an act of complete betrayal, the show’s producer is murdered for real – who will be able to solve the riddles and crack this code – before whodunnit was makes their final move?

It is the roaring 1920s and following the discovery of King Tutankhamen’s tomb, there is strong fascination with Ancient Egypt.  Many relic hunters have journeyed up and down the River Nile hoping to make the next big discovery.  One such hunter is Egyptologist Carter Howards, who has claimed that they have made a startling discovery.  In this highly competitive arena though, is all what it seems or are there greater secrets and scandal that require denial from the Nile?

It is Christmas Eve 1987 and you are part of Smartoys staff Christmas party.  This year, Fiona Smartley-Price (Smartoy’s CEO) has extra cause to celebrate because the company have achieved having the Christmas Number 1 toy in the shops.  Mouseville Friends is that toy and was the brainchild of Siobhan (Fiona’s daughter and a managing director of the company).  She launched the new toy along with her fiancée Noel Thurst who is a television executive that has launched an animated series based on the toys. This has just completed its first series on CBBC.  Will the celebrations continue all night long or will sinister happenings halt them?
